It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Francesco Valentino, on August 13, 2026, at the age of 78.
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 50 years, Pina. Cherished father of Maria-Luisa (Fabrizio) and Giovanni, devoted grandfather of Luca, Massimo, Sophia and Amelia. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers Carmen (Sylvie) and John (Mary), his mother-in-law Mariangela Ciconte (late Francesco), his nephews Dominic and Frankie, sister-in-law Bianca (Giancarlo), along with many relatives and friends. He is now reunited in heaven with his mother Maria Esposito and his father Domenico Valentino.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Yves Legare Funeral Complex situated at 7200 boul. Newman, LaSalle.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 28, 2026 at 11:00 am at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, LaSalle and thence, to the Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
Frank was a devoted husband. His family was always the center of his world. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren, especially going to hockey games. Although he left us, his love will remain in our hearts every moment of the day. He will be missed but not forgotten. We will carry your love and your wisdom in our hearts forever.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff members at the Jewish General Hospital for their wonderful support and care. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Jewish General Cancer Foundation.
