It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco (Frank) Montesano, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 74, son of the late Vincenzo and Giuseppina Montesano
He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years Anna Gervasi Montesano, daughters Josie (Robert Bertrand) and Lisa (Dino Fabrizio), his beautiful grandchildren Luca, Sofia, Olivia and Delia. He will also be missed deeply by his siblings the late Brunina (the late Sam Laserra), the late Tony (Marguerite), Victor, Joseph, Sammy, Rocky (Janet) and his in-laws Josie (Vince), Bruno(Rosetta), Connie (Enzo), Tony(Raffaela), as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Special mentions, his best friend which was like a brother, the late Darren Blazey (Georgina).
Frank loved fishing, playing cribbage, and poker. He enjoyed playing cards with his father and brothers at Christmas. He loved talking to his grandchildren about his childhood and the mischievous adventures. Frank loved his family and his doggie grandchildren, especially loved giving them treats.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses in the ICU at the Royal Victoria Hospital (The Glen) for their wonderful support and care.
The family will receive condolences on, Monday March 24th, 2025, from 2 to 5 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 starting at 9:30 am to 10:30 at: Yves Légaré Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at St. John Brebeuf church at 11:00 am and then to the burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
