In Pointe-Claire, on March 6, 2026, at the age of 92, Mr. Fernand Jacques passed away. He was the beloved husband of Micheline Legault for 37 years and the son of the late Reine Roy and the late Joseph Vital Jacques.
He is reunited with his first wife, Irene Collins. He leaves to mourn his children Marguerite (William) and John (Silke), as well as his grandchildren Jason, Sara, Kayla, Maya and Elfie. He was the brother of the late Yves-Henri Jacques (late Marie-Louise Lessard), the late Jean-Marie Jacques (late Aurore Lessard), the late Germaine Jacques (late Clermont Jacques), the late François Jacques (late Jeannette Vachon), the late Maurice Jacques (late Marie-Reine Roy), the late Marius Jacques (late Monique Maheu), Marie Jacques (late Augustin Lessard), the late Pauline Jacques, SCQ, the late Denyse Jacques (late Jean Poulin), Henriette Jacques (Jean Ruelland), Gabriel Jacques (late Michelle Busque), Catherine Jacques (Louis-Marie Maximilien) and the late Luce Jacques (Pierre Lessard). He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
The funeral mass will be held on March 20 at 11 a.m at Saint-Thomas-à-Becket Church, located at 4320 Sainte-Anne Street, Pierrefonds, Quebec H9H 4Y7. Afterwards the family will receive condolences at the same place.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Pierrefonds CLSC and all the home caregivers for their support and the compassionate care provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate a book to a school or library of your choice in memory of Fernand Jacques.
