Montréal on February 22nd 2026, at the age of 77, was the passing of Eugene (Ewhen) Osidacz.
His passion was learning. He was filled with so much scholarly knowledge which he shared by volunteering, advising and mentoring in many community organisations in Montreal, Canada and the U.S.A. He was a board member of the Ukrainian National Association, respected fourth degree Knights of Columbus and a professed member of the Order of Preachers O.P. (Lay Dominican). We will all miss him. Rest in peace dearest, it is your turn to be in God's hands. See you in paradise!
Visitation will be on February 27th 2026 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Panachyda at 7:30pm at Complexe funéraire Yves Légaré de Pierrefonds, 14370, Boul. Pierrefonds, Pierrefonds, H9H 4R7.
The funeral will be at 10:00 am, on Saturday February 28th in the chapel of the complex.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Hospital ICU.
