It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Elvira Della Grotta Zito, on September 28, 2026, at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of late Tommaso Zito, cherished mother of Maria (David), Giuseppe, Tony (Lin), Elena (Andy) and Marco (Nicole), devoted nonna of Robert, Priscilla and Nicolas. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Howell Sofia, Matteo and Aleyna, and many relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Yves Légaré Funeral Home : 1350 Autoroute 13.

A celebration of life will be held the same day at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the complex.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Hôpital Fleury and the staff of the fourth floor of Résidence Saint-Judes for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke foundation (https://app-hsfdonation.heartandstroke.ca/?pagename=DMDonationForm&s_locale=en_CA&s_fT=cont&s_pres=hsweb&s_cscid=hsweb_cta&utm_source=donations-landing-page&utm_medium=video_module&utm_campaign=F26_Spring&_gl=1) would be appreciated in memory of Elvira.
