It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Elias Dourakis, on January 15, 2026, at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of Helen Mourelatos Dourakis, cherished father of Spyros (Vilelmini) and Eugenia, and devoted and proud grandfather of Ilias and Alkisti-Zoi.
He will also be deeply missed by his father- and mother-in-law, Constantinos and Eugenia Mourelatos; his brothers Vagelis, Panagiotis (Maria), and his sister Vasiliki; his sister- and brother-in-law Nicole and Theodoros; as well as his nieces and nephews in Canada, Greece, and the United States, and all other family and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funerary Yves-Légaré Funeral Complexe,1350 Autoroute Chomedey Ouest, Laval, Quebec H7X 3W9
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church,
