It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Egidio Amoroso, on March 15, 2026, at the age of 93.
Born in 1932 in Larino, Campobasso, Egidio spent his life working as a dedicated electrician. He was a man who truly understood how the world was wired. Whether he was on a job site or in his own garage, he was happiest with a tool in his hand and a problem to solve.
To his family and friends, he was the first person they called when something went wrong. He didn t just fix the lights; he showed up for the people he loved, always willing to lend his expertise and a steady hand.
Egidio was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maria. Together, they built a life centered on family and hard work. He is survived by his children, Maria Grazia, Vincenzo (Mariel), Lucia (Vin), Anna and his grandchildren Natalia and Juliana.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, and Friday, March 27, 2026 as of 9:00 am at Yves Légaré Lasalle, 7200. boul Newman.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 27, 2026 at 11:30 am at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
