It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Demetrios Stefanis, on April 28th 2026, at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of Marilena Stefanis Grafos, cherished father of George (Yiota) and Alex (Helen), devoted grandfather of Dimitrios, Marilena, Marilena and Dimitri. He will also be deeply missed by his brother Theodore Stefanis (Eleni) and family, his brother-in-law Panagiotis Grafos and his family, his sister-in-law Tasia Kritikou (Nikos) and her family and many relatives and friends
The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Complexe Yves Légaré Laval, 1350, autoroute 13, Laval, H7X-3W9
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:30 am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3780 Chem. du Souvenir, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-de-L'Espérance Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Hôpital Général Juif de Montréal for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Foundation of the Jewish General Hospital would be appreciated.
