On November 8th, 2025, Dalal Kor passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, and carried by Jesus into eternal rest; a life beautifully lived and deeply loved.
Born in Syria, on July 15, 1933, Dalal’s life was defined by quiet strength, deep faith, and boundless love. Her prayers were unending, and she was the glue that held our family together.
She is the beloved mother of Raif, Raed, Nahla, and Norma, and proud grandmother of Olivia and Karina; Andrew and Nicole; Mathew and Alanna; Danae and Slater. The last of her five siblings, she now joins her husband, Alexander Kor, the love of her life, who she often said she would marry all over again.
Dalal’s love, kindness, and wisdom will forever guide us. As she always promised, “My prayers will continue from heaven for my children and grandchildren - don’t worry.”
We will receive condolences on Wednesday November 12, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and also Thursday November 13, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Yves Légaré funeral complex : 7200, Newman Blvd in LaSalle.
A celebration of Dalal’s life will follow at 12:30 pm in the chapel of the complex, and thence to the Montréal Notre-Dame des Neiges cemetery : 46 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges for the burial scheduled at 2:15 pm.
You are all welcome after her burial to the Funeral complex for a light meal and refreshments: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
