It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Catherine Ann Donaghy, beloved wife of Mr. Jean-François Mayor, who passed away peacefully in St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil on May 25, 2025, at the age of 60.
Cathy was predeceased by her father, James Donaghy, her mother, Edith Ann Donaghy, and her brother, Gary Donaghy.
She leaves behind with love and cherished memories her devoted husband Jean-François, her loving stepdaughters Valérie and Cassandra Mayor, her dear niece Tori Donaghy-Bourke (Liam), her godmother Valerie Best, as well as many treasured relatives and close friends across the world who will remember her warmth, generosity, and kind spirit.

A private service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the Oncology Department at Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne, and to the exceptional staff at La Maison Victor-Gadbois, for their unwavering support and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cathy’s memory to La Maison Victor-Gadbois, whose care brought comfort in her final days.
