It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Vasilios Smeros, on April 17th 2025, at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of Helen Kourvetaris Smeros, cherished father of Maria (Emmanuel), Nektarios (Karen) and John (Effie), devoted grandfather of Elizabeth, Elaina, Alexandra, Anthony, Vasili and Agni. He will also be deeply missed by his brother in-law Costa and sister in-law Athanasia, his nieces and nephews, as well as by all other family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 3pm to 8pm

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 29th 2025 at 10:00 am at St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, and thence, to Sainte-Dorothée cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Montreal Children's hospital foundation would be appreciated.
