In Loving Memory of Antonios Tony Manoussos

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Antonios Tony Manoussos on September 10, 2026.
Tony leaves behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories, and a family whose hearts will forever feel his absence. Although his passing has left an unimaginable void, the love he gave and the beautiful memories he created will remain with us always.
Tony lived a beautiful life-one filled with love, peace, joy, family, and devotion to his beloved wife, Elizabeth Betty. Together, Tony and Betty shared a special bond built on love, companionship, and countless precious moments. Their life together was a beautiful example of what it means to find the person you love and build a life side by side.
Tony was a kind, gentle, generous, and loving man who always put his family first. He was a true pillar and patriarch of his family, someone everyone could turn to. Whether it was to lend a helping hand, offer thoughtful advice, share a story, or simply be there when someone needed him, Tony never hesitated. His presence brought comfort, warmth, and a sense that everything would be alright.
Tony found great happiness in his garden. He took tremendous pride and pleasure in cultivating it, lovingly tending to every plant and watching it grow. His garden was a reflection of who he was-patient, caring, dedicated, and always giving.
Tony was also an exceptional chef and baker by profession. Through his passion for cooking and baking, he created countless wonderful memories for his family. His meals and special treats were made with love, bringing everyone together around the table and turning ordinary moments into treasured memories that will never be forgotten.
After many dedicated years working as a chef at Bayview Residence in Pointe-Claire, Tony retired. He was deeply grateful to the Samatas family for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to become part of their family and community. Little did he know that this chapter of his life would bring him one of his greatest gifts of all-the love of his life, Betty.
In the later years of his life, Tony became a resident of Bayview himself. We will always be grateful to the exceptional staff who cared for him with kindness, compassion, and dignity. Their support meant so much to Tony and to everyone who loved him.
Tony shared an extraordinary bond with his sisters, Afroditi and Violetta. Their connection was one of love, family, and a lifetime of memories-a bond that remained special throughout the years.
One of Tony's greatest blessings was reconnecting with his beloved son, Teddy, fulfilling a lifelong wish that was so deeply important to him. He was grateful to have Teddy back in his life, along with his daughter-in-law, Laura, his grandchildren TJ (Kerryann) and Taylor (Tommy), and his precious first great-grandchild, Gabriela. The love and joy they brought into Tony's life will forever be part of his story.
And to Jimmy, Tony was so much more than an uncle. He was a second father, a mentor, a confidant, and a cherished presence throughout his life. The bond they shared was deeply special, built over years of love, guidance, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Tony's influence will remain a part of Jimmy's life forever.
Tony will also be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended family members, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
A truly special man has left us, but his love has not left us.
Tony's life was measured not only by the years he lived, but by the lives he touched, the people he loved, the kindness he gave, and the memories he left behind. His laughter, his generosity, his wisdom, his cooking, his garden, and most of all, his love for his family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Tony, you will never be forgotten.
You will live on in every family gathering, every meal shared around the table, every garden that blooms, every story we tell, and every memory that brings a smile through the tears.
Your journey may have come to an end, but the love you gave us never will.
Rest peacefully, dear Tony.
You were deeply loved, you are profoundly missed, and you will remain forever in our hearts.
The family will receive condolences On Thursday, September 17th from 6pm-9pm at Yves Légaré Funeral Complexe, 1350 autoroute 13, Laval.
