It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Anna Krywyn Solonysznyj, on September 12, 2025, at the age of 96. Anna was born in Voroniw Rohatyn, Ukraine.

Beloved wife of the late Wasyl Solonysznyj and the late Marian Dzuma, cherished mother of Helen and Nadia, and devoted grandmother of Danya (Jason). She will be remembered with love by her former son-in-law Ihor (Sophie). She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Anna, Thomas, and Maya, her brother Walter (Freida), her step-children Olga, Peter (Sylvana) and Roman (Josie) and many relatives and friends both in Canada, Australia and Ukraine.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Panakhyda at 7:30 pm at Yves Légaré 7200 Blvd Newman, LaSalle, QC H8N 1X2.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church and thence, to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Centre d’hébergement Réal Morel for their exceptional care and support, and kindly request that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the residence.
