It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Colantonio, on May 24th, 2025, at the age of 96.
Beloved husband of Maria Cappuccilli for 73 years, cherished father of Anna (Ron), Suzie (the late Michael), and Lydia (Lewis), devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Jason (Jana), Matthew (Daria), Michael (Erica), Jeremie, Tanya and he will be greatly missed by his eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph (Carmen), Armand, Peter (Josephine), John, Dominic, and survived by Johnny (Carmela), Daniel (the late Christina), and Livio (Lydia).
Mario was a tailor by trade, an avid golfer and bowler who always had a few tips to improve your game and was quick to teach life lessons. He modelled a life of faith in and love for God. He cherished his wife Maria, treasured his daughters and was a great provider and protector. He was a generous, friendly, humorous man filled with compassion for others.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 5th, 2025 at 10:30 am at Good News Chapel: 5845 Couture Boulevard, Saint-Leonard, QC H1P 1A8.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their wonderful support and care.
