It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Charles Quesnel, originally from St-Eugene (Ontario) and residing in Eastman, on March 20th, 2025.
He leaves in mourning his loving wife Helena, his sons Michael, Andrew, (predeceased) daughter Joanne and sister Francyne. He was a great granddad to six grandchildren: Katrina, Carl, Melissa, Ashley, Jacob and Kristen, and two great-grandchildren: Olivia and Loralia, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He loved gardening, entertaining, baking his “sweeties” and golf. He worked for Steinberg’s for over 40 years and was honored with an award from B’nai Brith Canada for his compassionate aid.

Visitation will take place at the Complexe Yves Légaré, Cimetière Près du Fleuve, 2750 boul. Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, J4G 1P5 on Saturday April 19th, from 1:00 to 4:30 pm. Reception to follow and celebration of his life at a later date.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Maison des Aînés de Magog for the excellent care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Charles’ name to the Alzeimer’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.

C'est avec une immense tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Jean-Charles Quesnel, originaire de St-Eugène (Ontario) et demeurant à Eastman, survenu le 20 mars 2025.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Helena, ses fils Michael et Andrew, sa fille (prédécédée) Joanne et sa soeur Francyne. Il était le grand-père bien-aimè de six petits-enfants : Katrina, Carl, Melissa, Ashley, Jacob et Kristen, et de deux arrière-petits-enfants : Olivia et Loralia, ainsi que de nombreux nièces, neveux, membres de famille et amis.
Il adorait jardiner, recevoir la visite, cuisiner ses « sweeties » et jouer au golf. Il a travaillé chez Steinberg pendant plus de 40 ans et a reçu un prix de B’nai Brith Canada pour son aide bienveillante.

Les visites auront lieu au Complexe Yves Légaré, Cimetière Près du Fleuve, 2750, boul. Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, J4G 1P5, le samedi 19 avril, de 13 h à 16 h 30. Une réception suivra et une célébration de sa vie aura lieu ultérieurement.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel soignant de la Maison des Aînés de Magog pour les excellents soins prodigués.
Au lieu de fleurs, un don au nom de Charles à la Société d'Alzheimer du Canada serait apprécié.
Il n'est plus possible d'acheter des fleurs pour ce défunt.
