It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Efthimios Sarakinos on May 12, 2025, at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of Patricia, cherished father of Christos (Alexandra) and Anna-Maria, and adoring grandfather to his two beautiful grandchildren. Efthimios will be fondly remembered by his brother Nikolaos (Eleni) of Greece, his sister-in-law Despina, his brother-in-law John of Calgary, and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his older brother Ioannis, and many dear loved ones. He will be deeply missed by his family and those closest to him.
The family will receive condolences on May 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Complexe funéraire Yves Légaré in LaSalle. The funeral service will be held on May 23, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St-Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Medical Day Center program at the Montreal General Hospital would be appreciated.
