It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Chrysanthi Papas (nee Papios), on March 30th 2025, at the age of 87.
Cherished mother of Alexandra (Alecka) and George, devoted grandmother of Aggie and John. She will also be deeply missed by her nephews, nieces, cousins, and all other family and friends
Everyone who knew our mother and grandmother, knows how she lived a beautiful life filled with passion and love.
Artistic, creative, ambitious, loving, caring, very humourous, old soul, lover of the written word..... these are a handful of things that our loving mum and grandmum was.
We are so blessed to have had such a strong and loving woman in our life.
She has now joined our dad/granddad Chris, our sister/aunt Cathy, her siblings Aretí and Demetri, her parents Catina and George, and many more relatives.
Rest-In-Peace, sweet mommy / grandmom (yiayá) you will be in our heart and memory forever

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4pm to 9pm at Yves Légaré Saint-Dorothée, 1350 autoroute 13, H7X3W9
A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 10th 2025 at 9:30 am at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 4865 Chem. du Souvenir, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-de-L'Espérance Cemetery.
