Spyridon Giannios 1939-2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Spyridon (Spiros) Giannios on September 19, 2023 at the age of 83.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Panagiota, his four children Strati, Chris, Helen (Jeff) and John (Demetra), as well as his five grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Katerina, Spiros, Panagiota. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters Arete (Costa) and Athena as well as his brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, and his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 2-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10 am at St-Nicholas Church, followed by the burial at Saint-Dorothée Funeral Complex.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation will be appreciated.
