Leonard Tyrone Jenkins, age 49, of Île Bizard, Quebec, formerly of Atlanta, GA departed this life on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021. He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 1st, 1971 to Doris and Leonard Jenkins.
Leonard loved life, his family, and sports. He looked forward to Friday night bowling after a long week and was a member of the Carter 10 pin bowling league for 15 years. A devoted fan of ESPN, announcer Stephen A. Smith and Sunday football. His favorite sports teams were the Cleveland Browns and the Atlanta Falcons. He was a fantasy league participant and two-time champ. He loved basketball as well.
His go-to-meal was rice. He would make a pot of rice and eat it like it was a 4 course meal and eat it in under 5 minutes.
He is survived by his loving partner, Coretta Frank; two beautiful children, Maya and Marcus Jenkins (his M&M`s); mother; Doris Jenkins of Atlanta, GA; father, Leonard (Valerie) Jenkins of Akron, OH; 6 sisters, Deborah Jenkins, Dorothy Bennett, Brenda (Bobby) Neal, April (Taru) Warren, Samantha (Torey) Bass and Jennifer Jenkins all of Atlanta, GA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2 pm with Pastor Jeff Siminic, officiating. To view the service by live stream click HERE.
