It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Giuseppina Caputo Montesano, on October 26, 2023, at the age of 88.
She has joined her husband Peppino Montesano of 68 years and her daughter Sandra. She leaves to mourn her loving children Antonio (Santa), Lucia (Nat), Mario (Tina) and son-in-law Joe. Beloved Nonna to Bruno (Mariya), Joseph (Danika), Christina (Victor) Giuseppe (Kayleigh), Samantha (Manny), Serena, Sarah and Claudia. Beloved Great-Nonna to Nathan, Kiara, Olivia, Liana, Lia and Emma. Predeceased by her brother Raffaele she leaves her sisters Lisa, Nazzarena and Giovanna, brother-in-laws Raffaele (Bruna), Salvatore (Rosa), sister-in-laws Vincenza, Susan and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at St-Jean Bosco Church, 2510, Springland, Montreal. Her resting place will be at Rideau Memorial Garden Cemetery, 4239 Boul. des Sources, D.D.O, Quebec.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit at Centre d'hébergement Champlain (Verdun) and to Dr.Robert Marchand and his team who are angels on earth.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Foundation would be appreciated.
