Volpe, Filomena 1941 - 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Filomena Volpe, on October 6, 2023, at the age of 82.
Beloved wife for 60 years of Gioacchino D'Adamo, cherished mother of Fernando (Pasqualina) and Laura (Angelo), devoted grandmother of Eva (Gino), Marco (Amanda), Ariana and Jenna. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers , her sister in laws and brother in laws, nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
She was an amazing woman who had a strong love of family and was kind and caring to all who met her. She may have left us, but she will never be forgotten; Her spirit and strength will live on with us all always.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Thursday, October 12, 2023, as of 10:00 am at Yves Legare Funeral Complex, 7200 Boul. Newman, LaSalle.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 12, 2023, at 12:30 pm at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Centre d'hébergement LaSalle for their wonderful support, care, and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Federation of Quebec Alzheimer Societies would be appreciated.
