Elias Karamanos 1944-2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Elias Karamanos, on July 3rd, 2023, at the age of 79.

Beloved husband of Pota Soilis Karamanos, cherished father of Litsa Karamanos (Dr. Hassan Moghadam), Dr. Voula Karamanos (Dr. Manny Simantirakis), Niki Karamanos (Adrian Abdoo), devoted grandfather of Matheos, Victoria, Alexander, Katerina, David, Andrew and Gabriel. He will also be deeply missed by many relatives and friends.

The greatest love of his life was his family and grandchildren. He was extremely proud and held an unconditional love for all of them. His second love was chanting at the St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and volunteering his time for the Greek community.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 7th, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Yves Légaré Funeral Complexe.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at 11:00 am at St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the CHSLD Val-Des-Brises for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the The Ladies Philoptochos of Saint-Nicholas Church would be appreciated. (A donation box will be placed in the parlor during the viewing).
